The father of the child, a 23-year-old man identified as Artavious North, reported the incident to police on August 16th. He claimed that his son had been kidnapped by robbers. However, the investigation revealed that the child had actually been involved in the whipping incident.
Two Suspects Arrested in Femicide Case
In a separate incident, two suspects have been arrested in connection with a femicide in Edomex, Mexico. The suspects have been identified as 35-year-old Leonardo Cruz and 23-year-old Jorge Luis Nava. The victim, a 27-year-old woman named Sandra Monserrat, was found dead in her home on August 22nd.
